There's a piece of music that plays.....when Gimli, Legolas and Aragorn are speaking. The last line before the music starts is Gimli saying:

"Let's hope THEY last the night..."

Then, a beautiful piece of music comes in -- while the men/elves are waiting and while the orcs are marching. Does anyone know where/when I would be able to get this piece of music?

Darn, I can't remember what that music is now! I really need to watch TTT again methinks. Another part of music that I like is when Aragorn is getting ready for battle...that's on the soundtrack isn't it? Argh, I can't remember now. :(

No, I know that music.

It's when, all are standing.

It's already raining, and they're just watching the Orcs and Uruks come towards them. It's after Legolas says,

Legolas: "Your friends are with you Aragorn."

Gimli: "Let's hope they last the night."

(cue music) -- it's got violins, etc. and is quite soft.

Well now you have me curious :)

Thanks to Anoron's cue notes I pulled the following from the DVD. Still a lot of sound effects (thunder, marching, etc.) but perhaps worth a listen. To me is it sounds more like a woodwind than a violin but I could easily be wrong.

Did you manage to get it? Sound effects don't bother me. :)

If that link was it, it didn't work for me :(

Try this link:

hornburgsample.mp3

The attachment above is the same file but with a file extension of mpeg - if you download it it will play in the usual media players just fine.
