I was just thinkin, how many of these people registering, how many of them might be actual users?
You should consider changing to either the newest version of PHPBB, or SMF which is a really good forum software!

Well, the latest version of phpBB (2.0.22) is installed. I see that there are some bleeding-edge version 3.0 stuff out there, but I generally wait until it's all stable before trying to use. Have there been registrations that seem like spam? I have not noticed really any since installing the add-on that uses various anti-bot methods for registration. Of course I hope to not have junk in a forum such as this, so if I miss something drop me a line!
