Chronicles of Narnia?

Post by Gina »

I read The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe many years ago and have not had the opportunity to read the rest of the series. However I thought the most recent trailer looked wonderful (especially the music :)) and thought maybe it is time to add a new section to the web site...

I think it really depends on how well the cast can act. I mean, the story itself is great, but if the lines are monotonous, I see little reason to add them to the site. Of course, if they're good, then by all means!

And I agree, the other books were definitely worth reading.

Do it... dooooooooo iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit.....

If the trailer is any indication of the acting, this movie should be SPECTACULAR.

The trailer, incidentally, is on Star Wars (in case anybody hasn't seen it yet) and it was magnificent on the big screen! Aslan's roar sent chills all up and down my spine! Now they just need to find the perfect actor...

Yes, and do read the books! I was just like you - had only read Lion, Witch and Wardrobe (and actually maybe The Horse and Boy) and just re-read those along with the whole series, and WOW! Sooooooo good! Had me in tears multiple times... but then I'm a big sucker for the whole Christian allegory.

We can forgive a man for making a useful thing as long as he does not admire it.
The only excuse for making a useless thing is that one
admires it intensely.

All art is quite useless.
